A cemetery, or graveyard is a spatially defined area where the remains of dead people are buried or otherwise interred. The word cemetery implies that the land is specifically designated as a burial ground. In the wider sense, a graveyard or cemetery can carry many thoughts and feelings.  The term is as just as applicable to the haunting landscapes of towns, cars, boats or other objects or areas that have been neglected, abandoned or fallen in to disrepair.
